turning 25 felt like a milestone when it happened, and there were two things i hoped to commemorate it with: 1. get the tattoo i’d been dreaming of, and 2. go skydiving. neither happened that summer. the tattoo came 2 years later.
skydiving has yet to happen.
so, when i saw that Bucket List Publications was giving away a Skydiving Package over San Diego, i rushed to respond. their only question was simply “why do you deserve this?”
i had to answer honestly…i probably don’t deserve this more than others, but it would be a dream come true. it would be a bucket list item that has been very important to me, but hasn’t been financially possible. i would also be able to combine this trip with visiting a good friend who’s serving in Tijuana.
so, i’m a finalist.
